The UCP Lodging Technical Council announced this draft on September 25, 2026 after the specification merged into the official repository. It defines reservation-session creation, updates, and completion for hotels and other accommodation, with guest assignments, payment timing, and cancellation-policy data. The specification is a work in progress and may change before a stable release.
