UCPList: The Discovery Layer for Agentic Commerce

UCPList is the directory that helps AI agents, developers, and merchants find every piece of the UCP ecosystem in one place. Here is what we built, why, and what is in it.

What UCPList Is

UCPList is a directory. It tracks everything in the UCP ecosystem: merchants with live endpoints, platforms with native support, payment handlers, developer tools, and agent integrations.

That is the simple version. The longer version is that UCP launched in January 2026 and within days there were real implementations scattered everywhere, with no central place to find them. checkout.directory tracked some merchants. GitHub had the official repos. Scattered blog posts covered individual tools. But nobody was connecting the dots across the whole ecosystem.

So we built UCPList.

Today the directory has 149 listings across five categories. The data is open source at GitHub. If something is missing, you can open a PR.

Why Agentic Commerce Needs a Discovery Layer

AI shopping agents have a bootstrap problem. To be useful, they need to know which merchants support UCP. But merchants are spread across Shopify, custom implementations, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, and other platforms. There is no single registry that covers all of them.

UCPList is that registry.

When an agent developer wants to find UCP-enabled merchants to test against, they come here. When a merchant wants to check which platforms support UCP, they come here. When a developer needs an SDK, a validator, or a conformance test suite, they check our developer tools category.

We also verify listings. Every merchant with a "Live" badge has had their endpoint checked. They are not just announced, they are running.

The Five Categories

Merchants: Stores with working UCP checkout endpoints. 62 listings, majority on Shopify. This is the category agents care about most: where can they actually buy something?

Platforms: Commerce platforms with native UCP support. Shopify, Google Shopping, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, and others. Platform listings are high leverage: each one enables hundreds or thousands of merchants.

Payment Handlers: Payment processors that support UCP token exchange. Stripe, Adyen, Visa, Mastercard, Amex, PayPal. This matters for checkout: you need a UCP-certified payment handler to complete transactions.

Developer Tools: SDKs, validators, conformance test suites, schema packages. If you are building a UCP integration, start here. We track tools across Python, JavaScript, Go, Java, and Ruby.

Agent Integrations: AI agents and assistants that have implemented UCP as a commerce channel. This category shows who is building on the buy side of the ecosystem.

What We Built to Go With It

Beyond the directory, we have built tools for working with UCP:

Validator: Enter a URL, get a pass/fail report on whether the UCP endpoint is correctly formatted and spec-compliant.

Checker: Quick endpoint availability check. Is it up? Is it returning valid JSON? How fast is it?

Generator: Build a UCP manifest from a form. Useful if you are implementing UCP on a custom platform and need a starting point.

How to Use UCPList

If you are a developer building an agent, start with the merchant directory to find live endpoints to test against. Check the developer tools for SDKs and validation utilities.

If you are a merchant evaluating UCP, check the platforms category to see if your commerce platform has native support. If it does, you are probably closer to live than you think.

If you are an agent builder looking for payment infrastructure, the payment handlers category shows which processors support UCP token exchange today.

If you want to contribute, the data lives on GitHub. PRs welcome.

Submit Your Listing

If your tool, merchant, or integration is not in the directory, submit it. We review submissions and add them within a few days. Verification takes a bit longer but gives you the Live badge.

The directory is only as good as the community behind it. If you are building in the UCP ecosystem, we want to know about it.
